So many people asking for updates lately, apologies for not updating.

Ok the dance party had been fun for all of you I bet. (not forgetting war games)I hope that you all, everyone of you reading this actually loved the orientation. This orientation was named step up,every experience begins with the first step. you have taken your first step into NJC and experienced the fun and energy in us.

Hope that through orientation, you have felt more bonded to your class and NJC feel more like a home to you now. Remember how you felt when you first step into NJC, not knowing what to do, where to go, now, feeling more confident of yourself

Now its time to begin yet a new chapter in your life, this chapter will difer from individual to individual, depending on the path that you choose.

It is important to choose the correct path now and pick the correct volume of commitment to engage. This very much determine both your academic success and also your portofolio success in NJC. Be a all rounder, yet being discipline and not forgetting the role as a student.

In a nut shell, the next step will be important.

Remember that every experience begins with the first step, to experience it, step up to the challange first.

THE.. Quest

Hey, was the quest fun?

It is one of the main highlights of our orientation. What can be better than running around and bonding with your OG! It is already the end of day 3 of orientation, 2 more days to go, 2 more days of fun and laughter.

If you have been following the story, updated everyday in the story section, the reason for going on the quest is to find the real killer of the great dance maestro.So did you find out who the real killer is?

Muhahahaha i am not going to reveal it, but its in the story line. The killer is in the midst of us.

Tmr there will be mass dance competition, so remember to be prepared for it and practice. Practice make perfect.

You have 2 days more of orientation, participate actively in all activities and get to know your class mate, treasure this time.

the informal walk-in - truly the highlight of today's programme!
i thought all the houses did exceedingly well ;) i guess all our hard work has paid off after the many many walk-in practices we've had over the last few weeks! haha.
were you amazed at the life and vigour demonstrated by all six houses!! the entire walk-in experience is something definitely worth remembering.

how was your first gang bonding session!
njc has six very charismatic house captains, and i'm sure the house sessions were filled with much fun and laughter! wasn't it fun learning new cheers, screaming your heart out!

well i hope you're looking forward to tomorrow's station games! won't reveal any details... but do remember to bring a change of clothes (in addition to the black orientation tee)!!

report at the parade square at 7:35am in your secondary school uniform! then after assembly change into your black orientation tee. look out for your friends in your og as you go from station to station. drink plenty of water! have fun!!!!!

Ohh and btw, the video played before walk in has been uploaded, just in case u missed any parts. also the story line will be updated everyday, for you to walk thru orientation story.

dear NJCians,

thanks for your enthusiasm during our first cheering session on friday!
our college anthem's pretty unique, don't you think ;)
i, personally, am so proud of the fact that NJC is the nation's first junior college!!

so... how was the CCA fair? NJ has such a wide range of CCAs! be it softball, chinese dance, string ensemble, strategic games society... the list just goes on and on! for that i'm sure you'll have no problem finding a suitable one for yourself! :) and wasn't it exciting visiting each booth, checking out what each CCA has to offer!

yes, the week went by soo quickly!!
congrats on braving the many many talks and briefings... haha. no more of such stuff next week, we promise! get ready for more mass dance sessions(!!!!!), station games, the quest, gang-bonding sessions, and more! even we as ogls are very thrilled! hooray :D

REMINDER:
on monday, 7th jan
please meet at the parade square at 7:35am!
morning assembly will start promptly at 7:40am
to wear: secondary school Full School Uniform
to bring: hand book and secondary school PE attire(corrrected)

oh yes one last word of advice:
be sure to give orientation 2008 your all: bond as much as possible with your fellow NJCians, always keep a smile on your face and... play your heart out!!

Day 1

So... what was it like climbing up the many flights of stairs, into the NJ hall! What was it like being grouped into various OGs and being placed into the six houses! Agorix, Aquilla, Igora, Lazlo, Soterios, Tyraz!! Each gang is characterized by a different trait, be it speed, creativity, or courage. Bond within your gangs, but remember it is the unity of all six houses that make us one NJC! ;)

Does everything still feel so unfamiliar, so foreign...
Day 1, no doubt, was full of talks and lectures, much of the administrative stuff.
But did you have fun learning new cheers, getting to know your peers... Are you happy with your orientation packages!
Mark our words though, the days that follow will only get better :D Especially next week- it will only be packed with fun fun fun- no less!!

So keep your spirits high... your time in NJ has just begun!

A big hello to all you potential NJCians!
So today's the last day of 2007.. :(
Haha but no worries!
Year 2008 has soo much to offer. Especially now that you're going to be a part of our NJ family (:

Two whole weeks of mind-blowing fun! Starting Wednesday. (2nd Jan)
Games, Mass Dances... truly, it will be The Experience you've been longing for! :D
